The spontaneity of artistic expression through kiln formed glass allows me to fully embrace the challenge of this unpredictable material. To acknowledge my individual limits while reflecting on the numerous opportunities to be achieved, I acquire life balance and healing. Much like life’s experiences, there is limitation in one’s ability to fully control outcomes. Working with kiln formed glass emphasizes the need for structure and standards of execution while remaining open and receptive to the end results.
