ELAINE MAYES
Dichroic Jewelry and Stained Glass
I was born and raised in southern California; and am now working on becoming a Granbury Texan. I spent 18 happy, enjoyable years making stained glass panels. I found it very refreshing and stimulating; along with raising two children at the same time. Stained glass was an art that made me feel like an artist. My largest project was a 6' by 3' stained glass window.
Having seen fused dichroic jewelry over the last few years, I decided last year making dichroic jewelry was what I wanted to do. My interest is the free-form and eclectic styles of working with fused glass.
I get lots of help and encouragement from my husband Jim. We are selling fused dichroic jewelry in various antique malls.
